Geraldine Pilgrim works across theatre and the visual arts and is known for her evocative installations and site-specific performances which create a contemporary dialogue with occupied and deserted historic houses, buildings and landscapes.
Flight was a site-specific performance and installation taking place in the Lake District in July 2016. The project was commissioned by 14-18NOW and Lake District National Park, and was made with over 100 local volunteer performers. Working closely with the Lakes Alive Festival Director and other key staff at LDNP I was responsible for maintaining strong relationships with the venue and wider funders, partners and stakeholders in the project. I managed planning and delivery of the project, and the budget of over £130,000 – including financial planning and day-to-day financial administration.
