Actors Touring Company presented international contemporary theatre, on tour in the UK and internationally. The company produced innovative scripts from abroad, often commissioning its own translations and creating work collaboratively with artists from the UK and overseas. Productions I worked on include The Events by David Greig (co-production with Young Vic, Schauspielhaus Wien and Brageteatret) that won Scotsman Fringe First and Best of Edinburgh Carol Tambor Award, British premiere of Illusions by Ivan Viripaev, and Nassim Soleimanpour’s Blind Hamlet. I provided the Directors with general producing and administrative support, participated in meetings with national and international partners, managed budgets, schedules, tour logistics and marketing activity, assisted in reporting to Arts Council England and organised fundraising events. I also developed and managing ATC’s Sustainability Policy and Action Plan.
